Seeing my sweet girl up close and personal!!

Madelynn made her debut into the world on

Tuesday, May 11th at 11:48pm. She weighed 7 lbs, 15oz and was 21" long. She was more than we could have ever dreamed about and is truly sent from above.

We are home and doing so great!! We could not be more in-love or more thankful for such a healthy, sweet, little girl!! The hospital took great care of us but we were SO ready to leave and get back to our own belongings.

Madelynn is such a good baby and is not very fussy. We know that we are partial because she is ours but we do think she is the cutest baby ever.

God has blessed us in a way that we could never describe (those of you that are parents know) and He has shown us love through her like we have never felt before.

Enjoy the pictures!! We hope to update as often as we can!! We are home in our own house FINALLY and we are thrilled to have all of our stuff back and be getting into a routine!!

We are at the hospital!!!!

Well labor started in the middle of the night this morning around 3:00 am and we labored at home until my doctors appointment this morning!! Went ahead to my scheduled appt because my contractions were not too close still. Got to the doctors office and I was 3 cm dilated and she sent me to the hospital...yay!!!

Currently I am receiving pitocin and just hanging out watching TV!! We can't wait to meet our sweet girl and we hope to keep you all informed!!!

Say some prayers for a good and healthy delivery!!

The waiting begins...

Well the waiting has officially begun. I went to the doctor last Thursday, April 29th and he said that he HIGHLY doubted that I would go all the way until my due date, May 10th! Miss Madelynn is ready. He thought I would make it through the weekend but 50/50 shot whether I make it through next week!! His last words to me as I was walking out were "Well we will see you for your appt next Friday..if not sooner!" If that doesn't get you excited I don't know what does!!

Which was GREAT news but totally made us all the more anxious!! I go to sleep every night now wondering if it's the last time my head will hit the pillow as just a wife! I wake up every morning wondering whether I am going to become a mom that day! God has protected Madelynn and I during this pregnancy and I know He will continue to until He sees fit for her to make her debut!! Our Savior has never and will never miss a single detail in our lives and I remind myself of that everyday. Long before he created us and long before Matt and I knew we would marry He knew that I would carry Madelynn one day and He knows what day we will meet her as well!! How reassuring!!

Please keep us in your thoughts and prayers these last few days as we embark on one of the greatest blessings God gives!! We look forward to meeting our precious baby girl and we want to keep you all plugged in with all the details as well!! The hospital has wi-fi so we plan to take our laptop so that at least maybe Matt can get on and fill everyone in on her arrival. I have also created an email distribution list so that all Matt has to do is plug in "Maddie" and this whole contact list will auto populate and he can send an email and pictures!!
